Aero Club of Egypt organized the first remote control air modeling competition in Egypt in October air port at October City on the 10^th of April 2009 , where 35 of modelers participated in the competition between Beginners and Advanced competitors.

The opening contest was made by General Samer Ramadan Chairman of the Board of Aero Club Of Egypt with the presents of General Ahmed Maher Vice president  and General Hassan Mohamed Hassan Board Member .

After the success achieved by organizational level contest and spectators and the high performance of pilots , we decided the contest of 2010 under the auspices of mister of aviation and under the auspices of the Federation Aeronautique International FAI
